The Licking County Prosecutor’s Office (Juvenile Division) is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Juvenile Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. The position offers an opportunity to build courtroom experience and contribute meaningfully to juvenile justice. This role involves close coordination with Children’s Services and Law Enforcement agencies and participation in cases related to arrests, delinquency, abuse, neglect, and dependency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Children’s Services and Law Enforcement in managing juvenile cases
- Handle cases involving arrests, search warrants, delinquency, abuse, neglect, and dependency
- Develop and refine courtroom litigation skills
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, Westlaw, and other Windows-based programs
- Maintain strong communication, professional integrity, and ethical standards
Minimum Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
- Licensed and admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio
